From Recovery to Nursing Graduate
Afamefuna Frank Ngezelonye is a 38-year-old male who was referred by the Fellowship Recovery Community Organization.
During his time with the program, Afamefuna gained valuable insight and strategies to maintain his sobriety. He is proud to report three years of continuous sobriety and has dedicated himself to giving back by volunteering his time to advise and guide others facing similar challenges.

On Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, Mr. Afamefuna proudly graduated with his Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree. This milestone reflects his hard work, resilience, and commitment to both personal growth and professional development.
Afamefuna’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of perseverance, community support, and dedication to sobriety. By assisting him throughout his academic journey, SCS has helped him focus on achieving his goals, and his success continues to inspire those around him.
